Virginia Reynolds
August 6, 1918 ~ January 5, 2018 (age 99) 99 Years OldVirginia Reynolds passed away at the loving home of her Grandaughter Beth Davis and Cory Ronke in Champaign on January 5, 2018. She resided in St. Joseph (formerly of Champaign).
She was born in Urbana Il on August 6 1918, the daughter of Earl V. and Esther Slater Watterson. She married Chester Reynolds on October 3 1937. She is preceded in death by her husband, 4 brothers, 1 sister, 2 daughters, Joyce Holladay and Carolyn Wheat, 1 son, Russell Reynolds and Grandson David Pittsley.
She leaves behind one daughter, Linda (Lester) May of St. Joseph,9 Grandchildren: Debbie (Allen) Bewsher of St. Joseph, Tim (Gina) Pittsley of Monticello, Kevin May of St. Joseph, Greg (Barb) MC Clain of Champaign, Mark (Dawn) MC Clain of St. Joseph, Mechel (Bill) Williams of Monticello, Paul (Kelly) Holladay Jr. of Tolono, Chris (Rick) Smith of Granville MI, Vicky (Patrick) Tipton of Eagle River, Alaska,, a son-in law Curt (Jane) Wheat and daughter-in-law, Rosalie Reynolds.
Virginia also leaves 15 Great Grandchildren and 19 Great Great Grandchildren.
Virginia was a Charter member of The Eagles for 50 years. She loved gardening, canning, making fried chicken, Christmas and spending time with her loved ones.She was also an avid Illini football and basketball fan. She was generous with her heart and time and spent 78 years as her younger brother, Lee's primary caregiver.

She will be sadly and greatly missed by all.

The Visitation will be held on Saturday, January 13 2018 10:00-11:00 am at Owens Funeral Home (101 N. Elm St.) in Champaign. Funeral service will be at 11:00 with the burial at Eastlawn Cemetery in Urbana.
