Warren Heisey Obituary
Warren W. Heisey, age 75, of Urbana, passed away Saturday, June 23, 2007, at Provena Covenant Medical Center in Urbana.
Funeral service will be held at 11:00 A.M., Thursday, June 28, 2007 at the Mackey-Wright Funeral Home in Monticello. Visitation will be held Wednesday, June 27, 2007 from 5:00 7:00 PM at the Mackey-Wright Funeral Home. Interment will be held in the Monticello Township Cemetery with military graveside rites.
Mr. Heisey was born January 17, 1932 in Manheim, PA, the son of Alvin and Susan (Esbenshade) Heisey. He married Anita Eyrich.
Surviving is Anita Lash of Champaign, his son: Darrell Heisey of Champaign, daughter: Shawn Zindars of Monticello, sister: Margaret Sensenig of Leola, PA and 2 Grandchildren: Wendi and Jordan Heisey
He was preceded in death by his parents, 1 son (Dean Heisey), 4 sisters and 5 brothers.
Mr. Heisey was retired from the U.S. Air Force and Kraft Foods. He served with the U.S. Air Force in Vietnam. He loved collectables, Illini sports activities, collecting Breyer Horses and going to auctions.
Memorial contributions may be made to Illinois Vietnam Veterans or the American Cancer Society.
