Wanda Jean Simpson, 77, of Champaign, passed away at 1:40 AM, September 16, 2010 at her residence.
Visitation will be from 1:00-2:00 PM on Saturday September 18, 2010 at the Mackey-Wright Funeral Home, Monticello.
Wanda was born September 15, 1933 in Watseka, IL the daughter of Warren and Blanche (Rowe) West. She married Cleo Frederick Simpson on October 23, 1970 in Bondville, IL.
Survivors include her husband; Cleo Frederick Simpson of Champaign, daughters; Regina Renee Dewitt and Rita Ann Gaskill both of De Land, and Reanna Kimberly Younce of Champaign, 4 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren, sister; Margaret Ann Funk of Danville. She was preceded in death by her parents.
Wanda was a retired cosmetologist. Wanda was a member of the First Christian Church of Monticello and enjoyed knitting and crocheting.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society or the Champaign County Humane Society.
