Virginia L. Huff, 72, of Monticello, died at 4:00 AM, Friday, April 1, 2011 at the Piatt County Nursing Home, Monticello.
Funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM, Monday, April 4, 2011 at the Mackey-Wright Funeral Home. Visitation will be held from 12:00-2:00 PM, Monday, April 4, 2011 at the Mackey-Wright Funeral Home. Interment will be in the Monticello Township Cemetery.
Virginia was born May 5, 1938 in Mahomet the daughter of General and Ita (Gosser) Eades. She married Gordon Huff on April 5, 1957 in Farmer City.
Survivors include her husband; Gordon Huff of Monticello, daughter; Teale (Eddie) LaRosa of Bement, grandchildren; Hope McWilliams and Hannah Mohr, siblings; John Eades, Dick Eades, Rose King, Wilma Davis, and Ronnie Eades all of Monticello, Zelma Spencer of Florida, Cindy Eades and Tom Eades both of Bement, Paul Eades of Argenta, Junior Eades of Lodge and Glenn Eades of Greenup. She was preceded in death by her parents, son (Scott Huff), siblings (Velma Jarrell, Jimmie, Garnet, Les, and Arnet Eades)and several nieces and nephews.
Virginia was a secretary and a member of the Nazarene Church of Monticello. Virginia loved bird watching, playing games, and spending time with her family. She had a special place in everyones heart and with everyone she met.
