Vicki Nolan

Vicki Claire (Hawkins) Nolan, 74, passed away peacefully on August 2, 2024, at Carle Foundation Hospital in Champaign, IL.

Born January 13, 1950, to Crawford Tucker and Evelyn Margaret (Vanderveen) Hawkins, Vicki lived a life defined by compassion and kindness.

A graduate of Streator High School, Vicki attended U of I and completed her RN at Illinois Valley Community College. For over twenty years, Vicki worked at the Pavilion in Champaign, helping youth struggling with trauma and abuse. Her caring nature extended beyond her profession, as she was known for her love of animals, especially dogs, and her ability to find goodness in everyone she met.

Vicki is survived by her children, Rachael (Jerri) and Rory (Selena) Nolan; grandson Ryker; siblings Mary, Debbie, Nancy, Kathy, and Mark Hawkins; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and brother Crawford “Tucker” Hawkins.

A Celebration of Life will be held on October 6, 2024 at Hudson Farm Urbana, IL 61802 from 12:30pm to 4:30pm. Be sure to bring some funny stories with you.
