Versia "Edith" Dizmon

Versia Edith Dizmon, 89 of Monticello passed away at 9:38 am June 6, 2011 at the Piatt County Nursing Home. Graveside service will be held for Edith at Grandview Memorial Gardens in Champaign June 9, 2011 at 11:00 am. Edith was born August 8, 1921 in Jaybezz, Kentucky the daughter of Francis and Arrenia (Poppwell) Wilson. She married Burton R. Dizmon August 1, 1940 in Franklin, Kentucky. Surviving is her daughter Deborah Helregel of Lincoln, IL; son Steve Dizmon of Placerville, CA. 10 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren. Edith was preceded in death by her parents, Husband, 2 daughters, 7 brothers and 1 sister. Edith was a retired Cake Decorator and home maker. Edith was a member of the Monticello Church of The Nazarene. Memorials may be made to Donors Choice.
