Timothy Frank Koller of Mahomet died Tuesday, July 25, at Carle, Urbana. Visitation to be held at 9:00 a.m. on Monday, July 31, with funeral service to follow at 10:30 a.m. at the Lutheran Church of Mahomet, 410 East Andover Dr., Mahomet.
Tim was born in Evanston, Illinois, on July 2, 1943, the son of Frank and Alice (Dryer) Koller. He married Patricia Carlson, who preceded him in death in September 1983. He married Frances (Busch) McGath in November 1987.
He graduated from Valparaiso University, served in Vietnam 1966-68, earned his MBA at the University of Illinois, and was employed by People’s Gas, Light, and Coke, Co. at Manlove Field, Fisher, beginning in the early 1970’s.
He is survived by his wife Fran and his brother David Koller of Albuquerque, New Mexico; children Mike (Robin) Koller of Columbia City, Ind.; Jennifer Koller of Chicago; Martin Koller of Mahomet; Scott McGath and Bob (Franki) McGath, both of Champaign; grandchildren Hannah, Timothy, and Peter Koller; Courtney and Tyler McGath; Tammie (Zach) McCoy; Andy and Bob McGath; Jessica and Drew McGath; and three great-grandsons.
Tim was a member of Lutheran Church of Mahomet where he served faithfully for many years on a variety of projects including building and grounds upkeep and repairs. He enjoyed fishing in Canada, woodworking, and travelling with his wife Fran.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Lutheran Church of Mahomet.
