Theron V. Bright

Theron V. Del Bright, 79, of Champaign, formerly of Monticello, passed away at 12:25 PM, October 14, 2010 at his residence. Visitation will be from 2:00-4:00 PM on Sunday October 17, 2010 at the Mackey-Wright Funeral Home, Monticello. Funeral service will be Monday, October 18, 2010 at 10:00 AM at the Mackey-Wright Funeral Home with Rev. Jim Dalrymple officiating with interment at the Monticello Township Cemetery. Del was born June 9, 1931 in Decatur, IL. The son of Theron O. and Leah Mary (Landgrebe) Bright. He married Eunice M. Bell on December 3, 1952 in Decatur, IL. Survivors include his wife; Eunice M. Bright of Champaign, Son; Bradley (Lisa) Bright of Monticello, 4 grandchildren: Katelyn, Aaron, Ryan, and Ethan, brother; John (Carole) Bright of Sullivan, IL, and sister; Mildred L. Dagen of Herrick, IL. He was preceded in death by his parents, and 1 sister. Del was a retired printer for the Champaign News Gazette. Del served in the U.S. Air Force during the Korean Conflict. Del was a member of the International Typographical Union, Am Vets, and he enjoyed fishing. Memorials may be made to donors choice.
