Susan L. Fitzwater, 62, of Monticello, passed away at 2:10 p.m., on March 31, 2012 at the Bement Health Care Center.
Funeral service will be held at a later date. Mackey-Wright Funeral Home, Monticello is handling the arrangements.
Susan was born July 13, 1949, in Gainesville, FL the daughter of Robert and Kathryn A. (Probus) Fitzwater.
Surviving is her father; Robert Fitzwater of Monticello and brother; Robert Fitzwater, Jr. of Monticello. She was preceded in death by her mother.
Susan graduated from Kokomo High School in Kokomo, IN with High Honors. She attended New Mexico State University on a scholarship, graduated with High Honors, and was a member of the Phi Kappa Phi. Susan retired early from the Social Security Office in Marion, IN. due to health issues.
