Sue Ellyn Bennett, 63, of Bement, died at 9:07 PM, October 20, 2010 at the Bement Health Care Center, Bement.
A Graveside service will be held at 11:00 AM, Saturday, October 23, 2010 at the Monticello Township Cemetery. Mackey-Wright Funeral Home, Monticello is handling the arrangements.
Sue was born July 17, 1947 in Champaign, IL the daughter of George W. and Mary Ellyn (Buckman) Bennett.
Survivors include her lifelong partner; Robert Allen of Bement, sister; Sally Bennett Shupe of Cincinnati, OH, niece; Kelly N. Shupe of Cincinnati, OH, and nephew; Geoff B. Shupe of Portland, OR. She was preceded in death by her parents.
Sue was a registered beautician and cosmetologist. She loved animals, art, jewelry making, pottery, reading, flowers, gardening, being outdoors, Native American studies and attending Native American gatherings.
Memorials may be made to Faith in Action, Willow Tree Mission, or Bement Health Care Center.
