Shirley Mundt Obituary
Shirley L. Mundt, age 81 of Monticello, passed away Wednesday, October 31, 2007 at Provena Covenant Medical Center.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P. M. Sunday, November 4, 2007 at the First Presbyterian Church of Monticello with Rev. Tim Bauler officiating. Visitation will be Saturday, November 3, 2007 from 5:00 to 7:00 P.M. at the Mackey-Wright Funeral Home in Monticello. Internment will be held at the Monticello Township Cemetery.
Shirley was born January 25, 1926 in Decatur the daughter of William and Elva (Hays) Heil. She married Dr. William E. Mundt on June 19, 1949 in Maroa, IL. He survives.
Also surviving is her son: William H. Mundt of Debary, FL. and daughter: Susan Cambier of Louisville, CO., and 4 grandchildren.
Shirley was preceded in death by her parents, 1 Son (Edward) and 1 daughter (Nancy).
Shirley was a 5th grade teacher and a housewife. She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Monticello. Shirley was a volunteer for Allerton Park, Meals on Wheels, and very active within the church.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Piatt County Nursing Home.
