Shirley LeBaugh

Shirley Mae LeBaugh, 88, of Mahomet, died at 6:26 a.m. on Sunday (June 18, 2023) at Carle Foundation Hospital.  

Shirley was born on April 22, 1935 in Urbana, a daughter of Glen and Ethel (Guerrettaz) Richardson.  She married Melvin Leo LeBaugh on April 12, 1952.  Melvin (Mel) died on July 13, 2022.

Mel and Shirley are survived by their children, Michael LeBaugh of Champaign, Gregory (Chris Smith Pruett) LeBaugh of Dewey, Sandra (David) Maxwell of Farmer City and Jamie (Debra) LeBaugh of Mahomet; several grandchildren, 1 great-grandchild, and 2 step great-grandchildren.

Shirley was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, Ivan Richardson and Stanley Richardson.

Shirley enjoyed sewing, crafting, collecting antiques and her family.

Public graveside services for Mel and Shirley will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Thursday, July 13, 2023, at Grandview Memorial Gardens, 4112 West Bloomington Road, Champaign, IL, with military services for Mel conducted by the Mahomet American Legion.
