Sharon Kay Walters

Sharon K. Walters was called home to be with our Lord on January 12, 2025 at the age of 61.

There will be a visitation on Monday, January 27 from 11-12 pm at Blair-Owens Funeral Home, 102 E. Dunbar, Mahomet. The funeral service will begin at 12:00 at the funeral home with Pastor Brandon Tipsword officiating. After the service, Sharon will be cremated in accordance with her wishes.

Sharon was born on March 1, 1963 to Vernon and Joyce Hyry in Minneapolis, MN. She was preceded in death by her parents; 1 son,  Dustin and 2 brothers, Ronald Hyry and Kenneth Hyry.

She is survived by her loving husband, Randy; son, Scott (Krystal); daughter, Riley; brother, Jeff and sisters, Ann and Mary (Butch). She will also be lovingly remembered by her nieces, nephews, sister in-laws, brother in-laws and many close friends.
