Sharon Tontodonato

Sharon Tontodonato, 79, of Champaign, died on October 18, 2023. There will be a private graveside funeral service at St. Mary's Cemetery in Champaign, with Fr. Anthony Co officiating.

Sharon was born on January 10, 1944 in Washington, DC, a daughter of Frederick and Ruth (Holmes) Davison.  She married Joe Tontodonato on December 30, 1992.  He died on August 10, 2023.  

Survivors include: Children, Cindy (Mike) Blank of Tennessee, John Kirchner of Florida, Stephanie (Jim) Sims of Mahomet; four grandchildren, Joshua, Heidi, Matthew, and Elizabeth; niece, Kayla (Bob) Cvengros of Mahomet; four great-nieces, Ava, Grace, Clare, Emmie; one great-nephew, Luke; two sisters, Cindy (Bruce) Helms of Washington, Melinda (Art) Shaw of Mahomet; step-children, Joe Tontodonato, Jr and Lynn Debelis and their families; and two nieces in Washington, Jennifer Gilbertson, Amy Hendrickson and their families.

Sharon earned a Bachelor of Science degree from Evansville College. She worked as a Registered Nurse and creative entrepreneur.  She was a loving Mother, Grandmother, Sister and Aunt.  Her family adored her and she will be dearly missed.
