Ruth Hilterbrand Obituary
Ruth E. Hilterbrand, 93 of Monticello, formerly of Coos Bay, OR passed away at 10:30 A.M., Monday, March 3, 2008 at the Piatt County Nursing Home. Graveside service will be at 11:00 A.M. Saturday, March 8, 2008 at the Bement Township Cemetery with Rev. Arthur Woolley officiating. No visitation with Mackey-Wright Funeral Home in Monticello handling the arrangements.
Ruth was born November 5, 1914 in Bement, the daughter of William and Josa (McKenny) Gundy. She married Harlie Hilterbrand September 27, 1965 in Monmouth, OR. He passed away February 14, 1985. Surviving is her son Allen Schwartz of Ivesdale, daughters: Lenna Blacker of Monticello, Jacquline Beecher of Coos Bay, OR, 13 grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren, and 4 great great grandchildren . Ruth was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and 1 daughter.
Ruth was a homemaker.
Memorials may be made to Provena Hospice or the Piatt County Nursing Home.
