Ruie A Burton

Ruie A. Burton, 90, of Ozark, MO, formerly of Monticello, passed away at 1:50 AM, on Monday December 28, 2009 at The Baptist Home, Ozark, Mo.
Funeral service will be held at 10:00 AM, Thursday, December 31, 2009 at the Calvary Baptist Church of Monticello. Visitation will be from 5:00-7:00 PM, Wednesday, December 30, 2009 at the Mackey-Wright Funeral Home. Interment will be in the Friends Creek Cemetery in Argenta.
Ruie was born January 11, 1919 in Pulaski County, KY the daughter of Lem and Mattie (Dalton) Tarter. She married Ernest G. Burton on September 4, 1938 in Nancy, KY. He passed away November 14, 1992.
Surviving is her son; Winston (Phyllis) Burton of Springfield, MO, daughter; Becky (John) Mauzey of Decatur, 2 grandchildren; Melissa (Keith) Jean and Carol Anne (Jim) Robinette, 4 great grandchildren; Jason, Kylee (Eric), Zachary, and Haley, sister; Anita Phillips of Bryan, OH. She was preceded in death by her parents, Husband, 1 son, 2 sisters, and 1 brother.
Ruie retired from food service at Kirby Hospital. She was a member of the Calvary Baptist Church of Monticello and the Rogersville First Baptist Church of Rogersville, MO.
