Roy Stone Obituary
Roy Anderson Stone, age 93 of White Heath, passed away 2:30 PM, Tuesday, November 20, 2007 at home.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Saturday, November 24, 2007 at the Mackey-Wright Funeral Home with Pastor Dalene Kuebler officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to service. Internment will be held at Grandview Memorial Gardens in Champaign.
Roy was born April 2, 1914 in St. Francesville the son of James A. and Ida (Boyles) Stone. He married Ruth Pauline Hostler on December 3, 1938 in Kentland, IN. She survives .
Also surviving is his son: Don (Lisa) Stone of Monticello, 3 granddaughters: Heather, Brittany and Melissa Stone of Monticello and sisters: Cora Todd of Elm City, NC and Catherine Bunting of Petersburg, IN.
Roy was preceded in death by his parents, 4 brothers and 1 sister.
Roy retired from farming in 1996.
He enjoyed gardening, sports and his granddaughters.
Memorials may be made to Kirby Hospital, White Heath Community Club or Donors Choice
