Ronald E. Milton, 76 of Monticello, passed away at 2:58 PM, Wednesday, September 10, 2008 at his residence.
Funeral service will be at 2:00 PM Sunday, September 14, 2008 at the Mackey-Wright Funeral Home with Tony Tysk officiating. Visitation will be 12:00-2:00 PM Sunday September 14, 2008 at the Mackey-Wright Funeral Home. Interment will be in Monticello Township Cemetery.
Ronald was born January 11, 1932 in Dade City, FL the son of Roy A. and Thelma G. (Roberts) Milton. He married Nola Avis Mitchell on February 14, 1954 in White Heath. IL.
Surviving are his wife: Nola Milton of Monticello, sons: Rick L. Milton, Rusty D. Milton, and Randy L. Milton all of Monticello, 6 grandchildren, and 1 brother: Robert B. Milton of Franklin, NC. He was preceded in death by his parents.
Ronald retired after 39 years from the maintenance department at General Cable Company in Monticello. Ron served in the U.S. Air Force. He was a member of the Monticello United Methodist Church, an active member in the Monticello Lions Club, and served on the Monticello Community Building Board for several years.
Memorials may be made to the Monticello Lions Club Senior Citizens Dinner.
