Ronald Edward McDade Sr., April 3, 1960- February 9, 2025

With heavy hearts, we bid farewell to Ronald Edward McDade Sr., a vibrant soul who graced this world for 64 years. On Sunday, February 9, 2025, at 1:30 p.m., Ronald left this life at Carle Foundation Hospital, Urbana, surrounded in the love of his family.

Born April 3, 1960 in Urbana, Ronald was the son of Richard W. and Peggy E. (Maxwell) McDade.

He married Crystal Crisman on July 10, 2009. She was his soul mate and the "love of his life." She survives.

Also surviving are his two sons, John E. (Kay) McDade, Tolono, Ronald Edward (Brooke) McDade Jr., Monticello, his grandchildren Zachia, Kaydence, Gabriella, Klaire, McKenzie, and Charley. His sister Vicky Levitt, Champaign, brother James "Shadow" McCarthy, and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, three sisters, one brother, and one niece.

Friends and family are invited to gather for a Celebration of Life on Saturday, April 5, 2025 from 12-4 at the VFW Post 630, 1303 E Main St., Urbana, Il 61802.
