Roger Dale Dalton

Roger Dale Dalton (74) beloved husband, father and brother passed away Saturday, May 4, 2024. Roger lived a life devoted to his faith, family, and love. He cherished his wife Nancy Dalton and was a devoted father to his daughter Kimberly (Dalton) Osborne and stepson Steve Seymour. He adores his grandchildren and great grandchildren, finding much joy in their presence. He is preceded by his son Todd Alan Dalton, parents Walker and Louise Dalton, and his brothers Robert and Russell Dalton. We know he is rejoicing with this reunion in Gods Kingdom.

Through out his life Roger exemplified compassion, kindness, and unwavering devotion. His love for God was evident in every aspect of his life, shaping his relationships and guiding his actions. He leaves behind a legacy of love, faith, and strength. 

There will be a visitation from 4:00-6:00 pm on Friday, May 10 at Owens Funeral Home, 101 N. Elm St. in Champaign.  The funeral service will be at 10:00 am on Saturday May 11 at Unity Baptist Church, 404 S. Duncan Rd. in Champaign, with Pastor Steve Brady officiating.  Burial will be at Grandview Memorial Gardens.  

Though he will be deeply missed, his memory will forever be cherished by those who had the privilege of knowing him. 

May his soul rest in eternal peace, and may his family find comfort in their cherished memories!
