Richard A. Hodges

Richard Dick Allen Hodges, 73 of Monticello, died at 2:05 P.M., Monday, October 27, 2008 at his residence in Monticello.
Graveside service will be at 10:00 A.M. Saturday, November 1, 2008 at DeLand Cemetery in DeLand. No visitation. Mackey-Wright Funeral Home, Monticello, is handling the arrangements.
Richard was born September 10, 1935 in Decatur, a son of Albert Bev and Ethel Mae (Dalton) Hodges. He married Joanne Campbell Brown on March 22, 1975. She survives.
Also surviving is son; David (Beth) Brown of Monticello.
Dick was preceded in death by his parents, Aunt (Prentice Dalton) and 4 uncles.
Mr. Hodges was a retired farmer and served in the U.S. Army Reserves. He was a member of the Monticello United Methodist Church, the Lodge Church of God, and the Monticello Masonic Lodge #58 AF&AM.
Memorials may be made to the Lodge Church of God or to the Piatt County Nursing Home.
