Rebecca Faye Galt

Rebecca (Becky) Faye Galt 57 passed away December 11, 2010 at Kirby hospital in Monticello. Visitation will be Monday, December 13, 2010 from 5-7 pm at the Mackey-Wright Funeral in Monticello, IL. Funeral Mass will be Tuesday, December 14, 2010 at 10:00 am at St. Philomena Catholic Church in Monticello, IL. with Father Bruce Lopez officiating. Becky was born May 9, 1953 in Monticello, IL; the daughter of William and Ethel (Fuqua) Galt. She graduated from Monticello high School, and Parkland College, she also attended the University of Illinois. She lived in Mesa, Arizona and Denver, Colorado and Champaign, IL, before returning to Monticello. She was a gifted artist and musician. She was super fun; and very loving person, extremely generous and always eager to help out wherever help was needed, and she especially enjoyed planning activities and parties for the children of the family and their friends. She will be sadly missed by her mother Ethel Galt, sister Sue, (Jim) Willis, brother Billy (Judy)Galt both of Monticello. Nephews Patrick, (Megan) Willis of Indianapolis, David Willis, Richard, Rusty, (Julia), and Dakota Galt all of Monticello. Nieces Mary (Billy) Morgan, Emily Willis of Decatur, and Julia Willis of Chicago. Great Nephews Jakob, Nickolas Morgan, and Great Nieces Tannah Rose, and Brianna Grace Morgan, her Dear aunt Sue Galt and cousin Jenny Galt and many wonderful and loving friends. She was preceded in death by her father William Kenneth Galt Sr. and sister Deborah Ann Galt.
