Raymond Gaines Obituary
Raymond L. Ray Gaines, age 66 of Arcola, passed away Friday, November 9, 2007 at the Arcola Health Care Center.
Graveside services will be held at 12:00 P.M. Wednesday, November 14, 2007 at the Madden Cemetery with Rev. Rondal Barnes officiating. Visitation will be Tuesday, November 13, 2007 from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. at the Mackey-Wright Funeral Home in Monticello.
Raymond was born August 10, 1941 in Monticello the son of Hubert Pete and Zula (Eastham) Gaines.
Surviving are his brothers: Don E. (Bea) Gaines of Champaign and Dawayne (Karol) Gaines of Savoy; sisters: Thelma June Rice of Champaign, Doris Felts of Frankfort and Juanita (David) of Indio, CA; several nieces and nephews.
Raymond was preceded in death by his parents and sister (Mae Argo).
Raymond was a farmhand and janitor.
Memorials may be made to the Donors Choice.
