Phyllis Gentille

Phyllis Gentille, 91 of University Rehab, Urbana, Illinois passed away on August 7, 2020. 

Phyllis was born in Providence, RI on June 20, 1929 to Francesca and Antonio Bova.

Before retiring Phyllis was a sales agent for Kelly and Picerne in Warwick, RI where she was a noted top seller.

Phyllis was the proud mother of 6 children and spent most of her years raising her family.  She was most surprised and delighted when She gave birth to twin boys during her last pregnancy.  She also enjoyed traveling, going to the beach and boating with her family.  Most people will remember her sense of humor, beautiful laugh and her passion for fashion. 

Phyllis was predeceased by her husband Dave, a former Champaign Police Lieutenant, her daughter Diane and sons David Jr and Tony.

Phyllis leaves her sons, Albert (Anita) of Urbana and Paul (Kellie) of Tennessee, her daughter Joanne (Tony) of RI and her daughter-in-law, Maria Gentille of Texas.

Phyllis also leaves 10 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren and 8 nieces, 4 nephews...and Macy's Department Store.
