Nancy K. Sumner, 68, of Monticello, passed away at 9:15 AM, June 27, 2009 at Provena Covenant Medical Center in Urbana.
A Memorial service will be held at a later date. Mackey-Wright Funeral Home is handling the arrangements.
Nancy was born on May 22, 1941 in Galesville the daughter of Lyman Pascal and Ferne Lucille (Marvin) Stewart.
Surviving are her daughters; Lisa Wiegel of Monticello and Sarah Sumner of Rantoul, brothers; John Stewart of Champaign and William J. Stewart of Tolono, 2 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, 1 brother and 1 granddaughter.
Nancy was a retired CNA from Kirby Hospital and the Piatt County Nursing Home.
Memorials may be made to the Piatt County Nursing Home.
