Matthew J. Hannon

Matthew J. Hannon, 56, of Champaign, passed away at 12:26 p.m. on March 31, 2012 at his residence.
Funeral mass will be held at 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, April 4, 2012 at the St. Josephs Catholic Church in Ivesdale. Inurnment will be held in St. Josephs Catholic Cemetery. Mackey-Wright Funeral Home, Monticello is handling the arrangements.
Matthew was born February 15, 1956, in Monticello the son of Paul M. and Carolyn J. (Ford) Hannon.
Surviving are his parents; Paul and Carolyn Hannon of Farmer City, a brother; Timothy F. Hannon of Jacksonville, IL, sisters; Jane E. Hannon of Champaign and Freyda Staten of Metairie, LA. He was preceded in death by a brother (Stephen Mark Flipper Hannon).
Matthew worked for the local #703 Labor Union Hall in Champaign and prior to that he spent time working as a set designer for the film industry in California.
Memorials may be made to the Champaign County Humane Society or an organization of the Donors Choice.
