Mary Kay Cler

Mary Kay Cler, 73, of Urbana, died at 4:24pm on October 29, 2024 at Morris Hospital in Morris, IL. There will be a visitation on Sunday November 3 from 5:00-7:00pm at Owens Funeral Home (101 N. Elm St.) Champaign. The funeral mass will be at 10:00am on Monday, November 4 at Holy Cross Catholic Church (405 W. Clark St.), Champaign. She will be buried next to her parents at St. Joseph's Catholic Cemetery in Pesotum.

Mary Kay was born on December 9, 1950 in Tuscola, a daughter of Leo and Helen (Flavin) Cler.

Survivors include: one sister, Patricia (Raymond) Lupori of Round Lake Beach, IL, one brother Fred Cler of Redding, CA and seven nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by one brother.

Mary Kay was a longtime member of Holy Cross Catholic Church and always helped with the funeral luncheons and special events.
