Mary Ann Stratman, 80, of Monticello, passed away at 4:56 PM, Thursday, November 19, 2009 at the Piatt County Nursing Home, Monticello.
Private family services are being arranged by Mackey-Wright Funeral Home.
Mary Ann was born August 16, 1929 in Louisville, KY. She married Gene Stratman on January 3, 1948 in Monticello.
Surviving is her husband; Gene Stratman of Monticello, son; Curt (Cathy) Stratman of Monticello, daughter; Lynda (Dale) Robinson of Lawton, OK, 8 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren, and brother; Tom (Patty) Powell of Pekin. She was preceded in death by her parents.
Mary Ann was a retired stenographer/bookkeeper for the Piatt County Assessors office. Mary Ann was a member of the Daughters of American Revolution, the Monticello United Methodist Church and she playing bridge and genealogy.
Memorials may be made to the Piatt County Nursing Home.
