Mary Lentz

Mary L Lentz, 81, passed away surrounded by family at Carle Foundation Hospital in Urbana.

She was born November 11, 1942 in Kentucky to Frank Mize and Rosie Cravens. She has 6 sisters and 4 brothers. She married William Lentz.

Mary lived life to the fullest through simple pleasures. She enjoyed spending time with family and friends. She will be deeply missed by her family, friends and all who know her.

She is survived by her daughter, Carol Lynch; her son, Charles Yets, 8 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren. Mary was preceded in death by her parents Frank Mize and Rosie Cravens; her husband, William Lentz and grandson, Chase Yets.

The funeral service will be held at Owens Funeral Home (101 N. Elm St, Champaign) on Monday, January 8, 2024 at 2:00 pm. Visitation will begin one hour prior to the service at 1:00pm.
