Marie Kucker

Marie Kucker, 93 of Mahomet passed peacefully May 30th at Bridle Brook Memory Care. No local services will be held. A life celebration will be held at a later date to be determined by the family.

Marie was born in Harvard, Illinois to Marjorie and Harold Thayer, the first of four children. She married Jack Kucker on August 29th, 1953.

Marie is survived by four children. Jackie Greene(Pat), Kim Martin(Tom), Michael(Nanmarie) and Rebecca Berry(Jon). Six grandchildren, Jacob Martin(Tara), Kathryn Abrams(Barry), Jenny Oen(Brian), Justin Morrow(Melinda), Joshua Berry and Megan Berry. Ten great grandchildren.

Marie retired as a longtime Nurse at Carle Hospital. She enjoyed Big band music, the Fighting Illini, good food, traveling and reading. Most of all she was extremely proud of her entire family.

She will be greatly missed, but always remembered.
