Marian Blacker Obituary
Marian L. Blacker, age 78, of White Heath, passed away Sunday, June 24, 2007, at Piatt County Nursing Home in Monticello.
Funeral service will be held at 3:00 P.M., Wednesday, June 27, 2007 at the Mackey-Wright Funeral Home in Monticello with Rev. Dalene Kuebler officiating. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at the Mackey-Wright Funeral Home. Interment will be held in the Monticello Township Cemetery.
Mrs. Blacker was born July 15, 1928 in Cowden, IL the daughter of Robert Stanley and Delpha Marie (Barr) York. She married Earl T. Blacker on August 30, 1947 in White Heath. He passed away November 21, 2002.
Surviving are her sons: Danny (Susan) Blacker of White Heath and Jeff (Angie) Blacker of Monticello; sister: Edith Smith of Bement; 7 Grandchildren and 4 Great Grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, 1 brother and 3 sisters
Mrs. Blacker was a homemaker and she also helped her husband farm. She was a member of the White Heath United Methodist Church and enjoyed bowling and Chocolate Chip Cookies.
Memorial contributions may be made to Kirby Ambulance of Monticello, or White Heath United Methodist Church.
