Lyle F. Primmer

Lyle F. Primmer, 98 of White Heath, passed away at 2:47 A.M., Sunday, February 17, 2008 at Kirby Hospital. Funeral service will be Wednesday, February 20, 2008 at 6:00 P.M. at the Mackey-Wright Funeral Home with Pastor Dalene Kuebler Officiating. Visitation will Wednesday, February 20, 2008 from 4:00 to 6:00 P.M. at the Mackey-Wright Funeral Home in Monticello. Inurnment will be at a later date.
Lyle was born March 18, 1909 in DeWitt, Illinois. He married Marian H. (Bird) August 11, 1934 in Joliet, Illinois. She passed away October 20, 1985. Surviving are his daughters: Myrna Anglin of Mahomet, Illinois, and Judith Beamer of Urbana, Illinois; 17 Grandchildren, 19 Great Grandchildren, and 4 Great Great Grandchildren.
Lyle was preceded in death by his parents, wife, 4 Brothers, and 4 Sisters. Lyle was a member of the Elks and the Moose club. Lyles special interests was the outdoors, his wooded property of 33 acres was his refuge for Wildlife. He enjoyed cutting wood on his land well into his mid-nineties. He was an avid exerciser; he loved walking his property and wore out several rowing machines.
In lieu of flowers the family asks that memorials be made to the National Wild Turkey Federation Piatt County Chapter.
