Lucille Burton Obituary
Lucille Burton, 91 passed away on February 26, 2012 at 10:25 P.M. at Piatt County Nursing Home, Monticello.
A graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Thursday, March 1, 2012 at the Monticello Township Cemetery with Pastor John P. Reeves officiating. Interment will be held at the Monticello Township Cemetery. Mackey-Wright Funeral Home is handling the arrangements.
Lucille was born March 23, 1920 in Nancy, Kentucky to Josh and Zella (Burton) Dobkin. She married Herschel Burton on June 22, 1935 in Nancy, Kentucky. Lucille is survived by her daughter Dorma (Dick) Beals of Monticello. She leaves 7 grand Children, 16 great grandchildren, and 12 great great grandchildren.
Lucille was preceded by her parents, husband Herschel, one daughter (Phyllis), and one son (Elvin). She was a farmers wife. She enjoyed being with her children and grandchildren, she enjoyed traveling and shopping.
Memorials may be made to the First Apostolic Assembly Church of Monticello.
