Lucile Lange Obituary
Lucile V. Lange, age 94, of Monticello, passed away at 5:40 PM, Thursday, September 25, 2008 at the Piatt County Nursing Home in Monticello.
Funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM Monday, September 29, 2008 at the Christ Lutheran Church in Monticello with Rev. Allan Oman officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service. Interment will be in Grandview Memorial Gardens, Champaign. Mackey-Wright Funeral Home is handling the arrangements.
Lucile was born March 11, 1914 in Mansfield, the daughter of John and Grace (Taylor) Anderson. She married Raymond Lange on February 17, 1940 in Weedman, IL.
Lucile is survived by her husband: Raymond Lange of Monticello, sons: Larry and Ted Lange both of Monticello and Mike Lange of Lerna, 5 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. She was preceded by her parents, 2 brothers (Phil and Paul Keith Anderson) and 1 sister (Geraldine Boman).
Lucile was a housewife and worked as a cook at the Washington Grade School in Monticello. She was also a member of the Christ Lutheran Church.
Memorials may be made to the Christ Lutheran Church in Monticello.
