Loretta M. Chinski

Loretta M. Chinski, 89, formerly of Champaign, died at Accolade Health Care Center in Paxton.

There will be a visitation from 9-9:30 on Thursday, Nov 7 at St. Patrick's Catholic Church, 708 W. Main, Urbana. The funeral Mass will begin at 9:30 with Fr. Anthony Co officiating. Burial will immediately follow at St. Mary's Cemetery, Champaign.

Loretta was born on August 3, 1935 in Champaign, the daughter of Joseph and Mary (Englum) Pfeifer. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ronald Chinski on July 22, 2013.

Survivors include 2 daughters, Theresa (Steve) Rear and Doris Spector; 1 son, Paul Chinski; 10 grandchildren, Lori Kauffman, John Rear, Jim Rear, Jessie Malcomb, Jason Malcomb and Dawn Malcomb, Matthew Chinski, Mike Chinski, Paul Chinski and Sarah Chinski; along with 9 great grandchildren.

Loretta loved being a busy farm wife and mother. She and her husband were very involved in the deaf community, often holding gatherings at their Bayles Lake home.
