Lois Clodfelter Obituary
Lois L. Clodfelter, 81, of Monticello, passed away at 4:15 PM, Sunday, March 21, 2010 at the Piatt County Nursing Home, Monticello.
Funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM, Thursday, March 25, 2010 at the Mackey-Wright Funeral Home with Rev. Tim Bauler officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service. Interment will be in the Bement Township Cemetery.
Lois was born March 12, 1929 in Clarksdale, IL the daughter of Lester and Rosella (Mollohan) Hord. She married John J. Clodfelter on August 5, 1949 in Bement. He passed away December 17, 2009.
Surviving is are her daughters; Carol (Jeff) Brisard of Clinton, IL and Janet (Kent) Rebman of Brownsburg, IN, son; Robert Clodfelter of Castle Rock, CO, 9 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren, brother; James L. Hord of Albany, OR, sisters; Myrna (Les) Syfert of Bement, and Marlene (Wayneth) Roberts of White Heath. She was preceded in death by her parents and husband.
Lois was a retired executive secretary for Americana Health Care Corporation. She enjoyed sewing , crafts, cooking for her family and spending time with her family. Lois graduated in 1947 from Bement High School. The family would like to express their deep appreciation to the staff at the Piatt County Nursing Home.
Memorials may be made to the Piatt County Nursing Home.
