Leslie W. Cuthrell

Leslie W. Cuthrell passed away peacefully  Oct 1, 2025 to join his wife Janet (Couch) Cuthrell.

Left behind to miss him, his daughter and son in law Patty (Cuthrell) and Danny Smelcer. His two so loved grandchildren Cassidy Smelcer and Brandon Smelcer. Sister in law Terri (Scott) Craig, sister in laws Beverly Couch and Nancy Couch. Several loved nieces and nephews. 

He was preceded in death by his parents,  Eleanor and Mark Cuthrell, his in laws Pearl and Dennis Couch  brother Thomas Cuthrell and sister/ brother in law Margaret and Dale Bjorkland. Brother in laws,  Dennis, Larry and Fred Couch and sister in law Judy Tyler.

Les had a great love for fishing and spent most of his off time doing just that.  That love carried to his grandson Brandon.

I am sure he has a pole in one hand and beer in the other.  

In accordance with his wishes, Les will be cremated and his cremated remains will be buried on Friday, October 10th, at 12 noon at Danville National Cemetery in Danville, IL.

Military burial rites will be accorded by American Legion Post #210.
