Lance W. Potter

Lance W. Potter, age 35, of Monticello, passed away Monday, November 3, 2008.
Funeral service will be held at 8:00 PM Friday, November 7, 2008 at Mackey-Wright Funeral Home. Visitation will be 6:00-8:00 PM Friday, November 7, 2008 at the Mackey-Wright Funeral Home.
Lance was born November 16, 1972 in Springfield the son of Dallas Dean Potter, Sr. and Kathryn Geneva (Spies) Potter.
Surviving are his daughters: Guinevere and Heather Potter both of Monticello, sister: Valerie (Tony) Grant of Cisco, brothers: Dallas D. (Joyce) Potter, Jr. of Monticello and Shane Potter of Cisco, mother: Kathryn Potter of Cisco, father: Dallas D. Potter, Sr. of Divernon, grandmother: Monta Potter of Divernon and niece: Allison. Lance was preceded in death by his grandmother (Ester Spies).
Lance worked in construction and was a member of the Champaign Laborers Union.
Memorials may be made to the Lance Potter Memorial Fund in C/O Mackey-Wright Funeral Home.
