Judith Long

Judith G. Long, 83, of Savoy (formerly of Urbana) died on Tuesday, April 14, 2026 at Carle Foundation Hospital.

Judy was born on September 1, 1942 in Urbana to Herman and Nellie (Pollard) Miller. She married Charles ‘Gib’ Long, and together they celebrated 42 years of marriage until his passing in 2004.

Judy is survived by her daughter, Lisa (Corby) McClellan of Monticello; 3 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren; 1 sister, Mary Pellock of VA and 1 brother, Timothy (Jamie Crane) Miller of OH.

She graduated from Champaign Central High School in 1959 and worked at JM Jones as an accounting clerk for over 20 years. Judy was a faithful parishioner at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church in Urbana for 25 years, until her health declined. Family was Judy’s favorite pastime, and she will be greatly missed.

Private family services will be held, and Judy will be laid to rest beside her husband at Grandview Memorial Gardens.
