Juanita Pauline Beebe

Juanita Pauline Beebe, age 90 of Bement, passed away at 4:55 P.M. April 5, 2009 at Kirby Hospital. Funeral service will be held at 10:00 A.M. Thursday, April 9, 2009 at the Mackey-Wright Funeral Home in Monticello with Pastor Kathy Murphy officiating. Visitation will be Wednesday, April 8, 2009 from 5:00 to 7:00 P.M. at the Mackey-Wright Funeral Home. Interment will be in Grandview Memorial Gardens, Champaign. Juanita was born November 8, 1918 in Piatt County, Illinois, the daughter of Paul A. and Ora Ella (Hettinger) Marquiss. She married Carl E. Beebe on November 14, 1936 in Monticello. Juanita is survived by her children Gene E. Beebe of Champaign, IL; Michael C. Beebe of Tyler, TX; Jack E. Beebe of Ivesdale, IL; Judy P. Arbuckle of Tolono, IL; and Janet I. Holborow of Wellford, SC. Along with brothers Allen Marquiss of Oakley, IL; Charles Marquiss of Pleasantview, TN; and Lawrence Marquiss of Monticello, IL; and sisters Maxine McPheeters of Monticello, IL; and Betty Hopper of Champaign, IL. Juanita has 18 grandchildren, 35 great-grandchildren, and 7 great-great-grandchildren. Juanita was preceded by her parents, husband, 1 son and 1 grandson. Juanita was a homemaker and worked for food service at Carle Hospital. Juanita was a member of the Oakley Methodist Church. Memorials may be given to an organization of donor choice.
