Jobyna (Joby) S. Logue, 87 of Champaign died at 9:37 p.m. Saturday (April 22nd, 2023) at home; surrounded by her family.
Joby was born December 30th, 1935, in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, the daughter of Joseph S. Alvadj and Ramona McCormick. She married James Logue on July 31st,1954 in Stuttgart, Germany. He preceded her in death on March 23, 2003.
Survivors include her children, James K. Logue Jr. (Josh), Greg (Angie) Logue, Kevin Logue and Mark (Traci)Logue; one sister, Beverly Geroux; one brother Preston Alvadj; 11 grandchildren and 17 great- grandchildren with #18 on the way.
She was also preceded in death by her parents; twin sister, Judy Lunceford; brother, Gordon Alvadj, two sons, Joseph Wayne Logue, and Michael J. Logue and grandson Michael J. Logue jr.
Joby loved spending time with her family, and she got a big kick out of keeping up with her grandchildren on Facebook. Joby enjoyed traveling with her girlfriends; Oh, the FUN they had! Most of all, Joby was the happiest in the kitchen, where she became well known for her Joby’s Pizza.
Cremation rights have been accorded by Owens Funeral Home. Per her wishes, there will be no funeral or graveside services.
