Jesse W. Painter

Jesse W. Painter, 72, of Monticello, passed away at 11:35 AM, on October 17, 2009 at his residence. Funeral service will be held at the Mackey-Wright Funeral Home Wednesday, October 21, 2009 at 10:00 AM, with Rev Tim Bauler officiating. Visitation will be from 5:00-7:00 PM Tuesday, October 20, 2009 at the Mackey-Wright Funeral Home in Monticello, IL. Interment will be in the Monticello Township Cemetery. Jesse was born on January 5, 1937 in Clarksville, TN the son of John W. and Clina (Procter) Painter. He married Carolyn Tucker on September 13, 1959 in Detroit, MI. Surviving is his wife; Carolyn Painter of Monticello, sons; Jesse W. and wife Tina Painter of Sadorus and James W. Painter of Monticello, grandchildren; Jennifer Painter (Sadorus) and Jeremy W. Painter(Ballston Lake, NY); 1 brother; Joe W. Painter of Herscher, IL, and 1 sister; Etta McDonald of Lockport, IL. Jesse and Carolyn just celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary last month. He was preceded in death by his parents and 2 brothers. He loved spending time with his family. Jesse was an avid outdoorsman, he loved fishing and rabbit hunting, he was a member of the American Rabbit Hunters Association. He was the owner of Triple J Kennels and raised AKC registered beagles. Jesse was a retired operator engineer. He served in the U.S. Army and was a member of the Masonic Lodge.
