Jerry Darling, 52 of White Heath, passed away at 3:04 PM, Sunday, December 7, 2008 at Carle Hospital in Urbana.
Funeral service will be at 7:00 PM Wednesday, December 10, 2008 at the Mackey-Wright Funeral Home in Monticello with Rev. Jerry Parmley officiating. Visitation will be 5:00-7:00 PM Wednesday, December 10, 2008 at the Mackey-Wright Funeral Home.
Jerry was born May 11, 1956 in Norwich, NY the son of Kenneth Dexter and Wanda Joanne (McKeon) Darling. He married Cathy Harmon on June 11, 1990 in Urbana.
Surviving are his wife: Cathy Darling of White Heath, sons: Anthony (Fianc Crystal Burch) Dunn of Bement, Timothy Michael (Shannon) Dunn of Ann Arbor, MI, and Thomas Paul (Becca) Dunn of Decatur, granddaughter: Leigha Jane Dunn, parents: Kenneth and Wanda Darling of Norwich, NY, brothers: Michael Darling of Champaign, Pat (Lisa) Darling (children: Kaitlyn and Bradley)of Norwich, NY, and Tim (Sarah) Darling (children: Tyler, Kendra, and Genevieve)of Binghamton, NY.
Jerry was a Technical Service Engineer with Ring Can for 27 years. He was a loving father and family man.
Memorials may be made to the Piatt County Animal Rescue P.O. Box 175 White Heath, IL. 61884.
