Jennie Agnes Greenwell was born on November 30, 1939 to Paul Leo Greenwell and Nancy (Bailey) Greenwell, in Champaign.
She was preceded in death by her husband Jack Rodgers; siblings, James Greenwell, Mary Ann Miller, Anna Bleichner, Shirley Tatman and her grandson, Scott Roth .
She is survived by brothers, Floyd Greenwell and Butch Greenwell; daughter, Heidi Roth (Rodgers), grandchildren, John Goudie, Brie Goudie, Hunter Roth; great grandchildren, Jack and James Goudie; nephews, Mike Miller, Jesse Miller, Randy Miller, Pete Tatman; and nieces, Nancy Kinsel and Jennifer Holhubner.
She married Jack Rodgers in 1969, they opened their home for 30+ years caring for over 200 children and helping countless families. She was known by many names such as Aunt Nin, Ag, Nana, Mom and Grandma. She was known for being a kind, accepting, generous, loving, compassionate person who would not turn away anyone in need.

There will be a visitation on Wednesday, August 20 from 5:30-7 pm at Owens Funeral Home. The memorial service will begin at 7pm at the funeral home.
