Ivernia R. Pruett

Ivernia Pruett, 97, formerly of Champaign, died on Tuesday, September 21, 2021 at Piatt County Nursing Home, Monticello.

There will be a visitation on Saturday, September 25 from 10-11 am at Open Hearts Four Square Church, 762 E 1700 North Rd, Monticello. The funeral service will begin at 11 at the church with Rev. Rodney and Rev. Samantha Burris officiating. Burial will immediately follow at Grandview Memorial Gardens, Champaign. 

Ivernia was born on April 23, 1924 in Champaign, to Bernard and Sylvia (Hickey) Fowler. She married Otto Pruett in St. Charles, MO on March 24, 1941. She was preceded in death by her husband, 1 son, Ronald and 1 grandson, Eric. 

Survivors include 3 daughters, Brenda Tolly of Monticello, Sheila (George/Butch) Allen of White Heath, Terry Esposito of White Heath and Greg (Bonnie) Pruett of St. Joseph; 12 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren and 6 great-great grandchildren.
