Irene Musick Biesecker

Irene Musick Biesecker, 93 of Monticello, Illinois passed away at 2:31 A.M. Thursday, May 24, 2012 at Piatt County Nursing Home in Monticello, Illinois. A private graveside service will be held at the Monticello Township Cemetery. Irene was born April 16, 1919 in Mansfield, Illinois the daughter of George and Nannie (Sexton) Cox. She married Coleman Short Musick in February of 1939 after Coleman passed away she married William Bud Biesecker in 1976. Surviving are Nancy Marshall of Monticello, IL; Jim Musick of West Covina, CA; Anita Walsh of Hammond, IL; and Rita Gates of Pompano Beach, FL; 4 grandsons, 3 great granddaughters, and a brother Bill Cox of Florida. Irene was preceded in death by her parents, husbands, one son (Larry), one brother (Chalmer Cox), and one sister (Maxine Amdor). Irene worked as a clerk at Gene and Jacks IGA and was a homemaker. She was a member of the First Christian Church of Monticello and enjoyed bowling, garage sales, and yodeling. Memorials may be made to the Piatt County Nursing Home Halcyon Unit.
