Iones Rhoades

Iones Rhoades, 85 of Champaign, died at 12:20 A.M, May 11, 2012 at Carle Foundation Hospital in, Urbana, Illinois. Funeral services will be held at 11:30 A.M, Monday, May 14, 2012 at the First Baptist Church of Monticello with Pastor Mitch Estep officiating. Visitation will be from 10:00 A.M. till 11:30 A.M. Monday, May 14, 2012. Interment will be in the Monticello Township Cemetery. Mackey-Wright Funeral Home, Monticello is handling the arrangements. Iones was born December 5, 1926 in Forest Green, Missouri the daughter of Charles and Faye (Levtung) ONeal. She married Floyd Bill Rhoades, Jr. on December 5, 1947 in Decatur, Illinois. Survivors are sons Ronald (Sara) Rhoades of Seymour, IL; Dale (Libby) Rhoades of Seymour, IL; daughter Patricia (Ralph) Rhodes of Sarasota, FL. 2 sisters; Goldie Early of Excelsior Springs, MO; and Shirley Williams of Richman, MO. 11 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and one brother Lee ONeal. Iones was a housewife and a member of the First Baptist Church of Monticello. Memorials may be made to Carle Hospice.
