Imogene Murdock Obituary
Imogene E. Murdock, 88 of Monticello, passed away at 7:30 PM, Monday, January 12, 2009 at the Piatt County Nursing Home.
A Memorial service will be held at a later date.
Imogene was born June 6, 1920 in Monticello the daughter of Troy C. and Blanche (Schmidt) Bennett. She married John H. Murdock on June 17, 1939. He passed away November 26, 1981.
Surviving are her sons: Lyle (Becky) Murdock of Monticello and Jerry Murdock of Littleton, CO., 2 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. Imogene was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and a brother (Myron).
Carol worked as a Piatt County Dispatcher, was Justice of the Peace, and a homemaker. She was a member of the First Christian Church of Monticello.
Memorials may be made to the Piatt County Nursing Home.
