Helen L. Muse

Helen L. Muse, 89, of Monticello, passed away at 4:50 a.m., on October 4, 2012 at the Piatt County Nursing Home, Monticello.
Graveside service will be held at 1:00 p.m., Monday, October 8, 2012 at the Monticello Township Cemetery with Bob Lane officiating. Visitation will be held Sunday, October 7, 2012 from 1:00-3:00 p.m. at the Mackey-Wright Funeral Home.
Helen was born April 20, 1923, in White Heath, IL the daughter of James and Rachel (Fry) Cox. She married John Jack W. Muse on June 10, 1941 in St. Louis, MO.
Surviving are her sons; Gary N. Muse of Cisco, Thomas L. Muse and John E. Muse both of Monticello and daughter; Carolyn S. Vance of Monticello, 11 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, sister, and 2 grandsons.
Helen was a farmers wife. She was a member of the Monticello and White Heath Methodist Churchs. Helen enjoyed crafts, knitting, crocheting, Bunko, go-karting, and being with family during work and play.
Memorials may be made to the Piatt County Nursing Home Halcyon Unit.
