Harold Williams

Harold Floyd Williams, 84, of Urbana passed away at 5:21 p.m. on Saturday December 30th 2023 at his son's home with family by his side.

Harold was born March 8, 1939, a son of Harold Floyd and Esther May (Taylor) Williams.  He married Susan (Odom) on May 14th, 1994. She survives. Also surviving are three sons John, Leslie, and George Williams; two daughters Rebecca Williams and Trina Ard; five grandchildren; three great granddaughters; sister Wanda Isaac and brother Dale Williams. He was preceded in death by his parents and two sisters Mary Sconce, Evelyn Dawkins, brother Lester Williams, and a grandson Andrew Ard.

In his younger years Harold enjoyed fishing, camping and working on cars. Harold worked as a semi driver and a yard jockey at JM Jones for 33 years.  After retiring he kept busy by doing odd jobs, "scrapping" metal and walking his beloved dog Mojie.

Owens Funeral Home will conduct a graveside service at Grandview Memorial Gardens in Champaign, on Friday January 5th at 2:30 pm. Celebration of Life will be Saturday, January 20, 2024 at Lake of the Woods Pavilion in Mahomet from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m.
